Keynote Address 2 (for all attendees): “Building a Five Star Marriage:
Turning a House into a Home” 10-5 pm Mini Retreat for First-Timers: “Filling Your Toolbox” No worker ever
feels that he has quite enough tools. This mini-retreat will help couples
new to marriage enrichment to add valuable new skills and insights to
their relationship. OR 10-12 pm Workshop Session 1 (You have the option of A or B) Workshop A: “That’s Not What I Said!”
Good communication is
essential in building better marriages. This workshop will help you
recognize your own communication style and the concept of meta-messages.
Use these insights to reduce misunderstandings between you and your
spouse. Workshop B: “When Blueprints Clash: Creative Conflict Resolution”
Your natural
differences can build a foundation for a stronger marriage. Through
learning how to use the tools of anger management and creative problem
solving, your marriage will stand up through storms. 12-2 pm Break for lunch on your own 2-4 pm Workshop Session 2 (For all workshop attendees) Workshop C: “Affirmation: The Building Tool”
Be intentional: build
