Mini-Retreat
The Seasons of Our Lives Workshop for New Couples
Leader Couple: Harrel & Sally Morgan
This workshop is designed for newcomers to ACME. Couples will learn
techniques for planting the seeds of their lives together
(Communication), braving the stormy season (Conflict Resolution),
and lasting to the "winter" of your life (Commitment).
Morning Workshops
A. Growing Edges: Couple Dialogue
In this workshop using ACME's dialogue model and group discussion,
we will examine "going for the potential" of growth in out
marriages, as couples and individuals. We will share and explore
the processes and skills which can and have moved our marriages
from frosty to steamy.
B: Mary, John, How Does Your Garden Grow?
Thais workshop will look at ways to identify issues and improve
relationships by looking at the "he, she, we" of marriage.
C. Shelter in the Storm
Marriage exists within a world that is often like a roller coaster
ride. There are ups and downs. This workshop will help provide some
balance within your relationship to weather the storms.
Afternoon Workshop
D.
Experience the Seasons
We come together for three presentations, on Communication, Conflict
Resolution and Commitment. We will break up into small groups with
time for each couple to dialogue and share after each presentation.
